Top 4 Most Healtheist Habits To Follow

Image
  1) Yoga-- This is the most important thing to do in the morning. Start your day with yoga for just 15-20 minutes. By doing yoga, you remain active all day, and you may not feel lazy or stressed. Doing yoga for just 15-20 minutes increases your metabolism, makes you healthy and builds your immunity. i f you are a student or an office worker, then I recommend you to do yoga because nowadays students are feeling very lazy the whole day and they can't do any work, so I recommend this habit to follow every morning for just 15-20 minutes. You can do any yoga by watching on youtube, and I recommend a channel known as Fit tuber, which is best for those who show interest in health and healthy eating. 2)Meditation-- It is also yoga, but I keep it aside because many people don't know the benefits of Meditation's most powerful yoga. This Meditation is the best thing to do every morning, just for 5-10 minutes. By doing Meditation, you can feel fresh and start the day with full energy....

Where did the term "OK" comes from?πŸ€”

Image
This has to be one of the simplest but most widely used expressions.Too bad its history isn't as easy. OK is definitely American, and it is not short for okay.OK was a jokey way of abbreviating "I'll korrect", which is itself a jokey way of saying "all correct".(This was probably a funnier joke if you had been there around 1839. Spelling things wrong in a goofy way was a fad then.) OK was a common sort of shorthand at the time, because people also used abbreviations like PDQ for "pretty darned quick"--the way we use LOL for "laugh out loud," BTW for "by the way" and FYI for "for your information" today. Most of the silly acronyms are long gone, but OK stuck, and it still means all correct.

What's the story behind lighting the candles on the birthday cake?

Image
We have Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon,to thank for the birthday cake. She got moon shaped honey cakes to celebrate her birthday(Get it-moon goddess gets moon cake)and the rest of us followed suit with round cakes to celebrate on your birthday. The idea of lighting one candle on your birthday cake for each year you have been around comesfrom the Greeks too.The superstition says that if you can blow out every candle with one breath after you make your wish,it will come true...as long as you tell no one what you wished. There is also a belief that when you eat the words on a cake they will come true- so a bite of ''Happy Birthday" will bring you happiness. Another tradition says that the way your birthday goes will set the pattern for the coming year- so try not to cry on that day,or you will for the next 364 days too. Fact-What did the Latin scholar say to the birthday kid?  Answer-"Carpe cakem"-seize the cake!

Why is it called a funny bone?

It's not even a teeny bit funny when you hit yourself hard on what people call the funny bone. And it's not a bone, either. It's called the ulnar nerve and it runs through a groove in your ulna, which is one of the two bones in your forearm. The place of extreme pain is in your elbow, where the nerve and the bones are really close to the surface. Since they stick out extra far,it is even easier to whack yourself on the funny bone.Believe it whacking a nerve is far worse than whacking a bone. It's like a gigantic crazy session of pins and needles and painall jumbled up,so much so that you might cry and laugh at the same time. That's one of the theories of why it's called the funny bone. Some people think it's called the funny bone because the other bone that the ulnar nerve runs through is your humerus bone.Get it humorous!
